What is the Data Security Team and why join?

As a member of this team, you will:
Be at the forefront of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM)
Help customers solve data visibility, risk, and governance challenges across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Drive new revenue streams aligned to AI, cyber resilience, and data-centric security
Build a market-facing presence through thought leadership, labs, and customer engagements
This is a fast-moving, high-impact role where no two days look the same.
What will you be doing?
The DSPM Technical Solutions Architect (TSA) is a pre-sales leader responsible for driving customer engagement and solution strategy focused on DSPM, with a primary emphasis on Cyera .
Core Responsibilities
Partner directly with WWT account teams to identify, qualify, and drive DSPM opportunities
Serve as the technical and strategic expert for Cyera-led engagements
Lead customer discovery sessions focused on:
Data visibility and classification
Data risk and exposure
AI readiness and data hygiene
Architect and position DSPM solutions within broader security ecosystems (cloud, identity, SIEM, DLP, etc.)
Deliver executive-level presentations and technical deep dives
DSPM & Cyera Focus
Act as the WWT field expert on Cyera , including:
Data discovery across cloud and SaaS environments
Data classification and risk prioritization
Data access governance and entitlement risk
AI data readiness and security posture
Translate DSPM capabilities into business outcomes :
Reduced data breach risk
Improved compliance posture
Acceleration of AI/ML initiatives
Position DSPM as a foundational control plane for modern data security
Innovation, Labs & Field Enablement
Develop and deliver ATC labs and proof-of-value engagements for DSPM solutions
Enable WWT sellers and partners to:
Identify DSPM opportunities
Properly scope and position solutions
Create customer-facing assets :
Workshops
Assessments
Executive briefings
Contribute to thought leadership (whitepapers, demos, videos)
Partnership & GTM Leadership
Build and strengthen strategic alignment with Cyera and adjacent ecosystem partners
Support WWT’s go-to-market strategy for DSPM and data security
Collaborate with:
Cloud teams
Cybersecurity practices
Data protection & resilience teams
Identify and drive net-new pipeline opportunities
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solution architecture within cybersecurity or data security
Strong understanding of:
Data Security Posture Management (DSPM)
Cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Data classification, governance, and access risk
Experience working with enterprise customers and complex sales cycles
Exceptional communication and presentation skills , including executive audiences
Proven ability to identify and drive new business opportunities
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience or exposure to Cyera or DSPM platforms
Background in one or more of the following:
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Insider Risk / Access Governance
Cloud Security (CNAPP, CSPM)
Data Protection / Backup (as context, not core focus)
Experience building:
Workshops
Technical demos
Customer-facing content

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 annually . Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
