Overview

The Service Operations Analyst supports our internal teams by tracking monthly revenue and service backlog progress along with reporting against monthly and annual performance targets. This entails working closely with all sales, service delivery, and finance teams on a continual basis.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date various service engagement progress tracking systems by interacting with systems, staff, and reporting data on a daily basis.

  • Ensure all relevant contractual, billing, and delivery terms are accurately reflected in all relevant systems (Salesforce, Accounting Systems, and Operational Trackers).

  • Work tirelessly with service delivery leads to capture monthly progress and trigger revenue recognition or billing actions based on the product’s revenue classification attributes.

  • Work with finance and accounting partners to understand conditions that prevent billing or revenue recognition and track and report against them to supervisory staff.

  • Generate monthly and on demand reports for key service delivery metrics (e.g., number of new projects sold by product family, total number of active projects by business unit, product family, and service delivery lead, current revenue backlog, revenue forecasts as determined by project leads, etc.)

  • Investigate reporting anomalies to determine root cause issues and develop and recommend process improvements.
