Job Summary
As the .Net Developer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting applications using the .Net framework and SharePoint 2013, as well as working closely with end users to gather requirements and deliver tactical system enhancements.
Job Description
We are looking for a .Net Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using .Net technologies. This position will be full-time and remote .
What You’ll Do
Interact with various end users to produce User/Functional Requirements and coordinate tactical system enhancements
Work closely with Business Users and Peer Systems Analysts to analyze master data and related processes on a local, regional, and global basis
Perform business research independently and collaboratively with a team
Develop and support web applications using the .Net framework and SharePoint 2013
Design and maintain Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL development and support
Build intranet-based applications using .NET Framework and related technologies (VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, C#.Net)
What You'll Need
Required:
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server
Knowledge in writing Stored Procedures
Asynchronous communication using json, jQuery, XML, and Http Request
ASP.NET life cycle events and Databinding
MVC/Angular JS
Ability to analyze user requirements and generate ad-hoc reports using SQL
PL/SQL Functions/Procedures/Packages and Oracle database Triggers
Strong grounding in development methodologies such as Agile, Design Patterns, and Service-Oriented Architectures
Strong understanding of structured development concepts like encapsulation and separation of concerns
Team development skills, including requirements gathering, Use Cases/User Stories, and architectural design
Data Modeling, analysis, and table design/maintenance
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills and customer orientation
Knowledge and experience in business/systems analysis
Preferred:
- Exposure to Project Development/Management Methodology
Education/Knowledge
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream
3-7 years of experience
English proficiency in speaking and writing
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
