Job Description:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Analyst to join our growing team.

  • In this mid-level role, you will partner closely with our global Commercial Operations and Sales teams to ensure the accuracy of our sales data, optimize CRM processes, and deliver high-quality reporting that supports decision-making across the organization.

  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data, is skilled in reporting and analytics, and wants to contribute to the efficiency of a high-performing commercial organization.

Responsibilities:

Sales & CRM Data Management

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate sales data in Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

  • Manage territory updates across account teams, opportunity teams, and commission team objects (using DemandTools or Dataloader).

  • Perform routine data quality checks, resolve discrepancies, and support data cleansing and deduplication efforts.

  • Import/export CRM object data via API using insert/upsert/update/delete operations.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build, maintain, and automate recurring sales and operational reports with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Develop dashboards, summary reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support Sales, GTM, Finance, and leadership teams; Excel, Tableau and or PowerBI etc.

  • Use Excel and advanced modeling techniques (PowerQuery, Power Pivot, DAX, hierarchies, cube functions, LET/LAMBDA, etc.) to produce analytics-ready data sets.

  • Assist in visualizing trends, performance metrics, and insights for leadership consumption.

CRM System & Process Support

  • Learn and support core CRM functionalities, ensuring records and processes are consistently maintained.

  • Troubleshoot basic CRM issues and provide user support to sales team members.

  • Maintain and update documentation for sales processes, system changes, and operational workflows.

  • Support rollout and adoption of new sales tools, processes, and system enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, GTM, Finance, Legal and other internal teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate reporting and data alignment.

  • Communicate data insights clearly and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of experience in sales operations, reporting and analytics and commercial operations in a subscription-based software company

  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including:

  • Advanced Excel (PowerQuery, Power Pivot, DAX, LAMBDA/LET, HSTACK/VSTACK, Cube functions)

  • Ability to build, automate, and optimize recurring reports and dashboards

  • Comfort working with large, complex datasets

  • Object relationships, field limits, territory management, and CPQ fundamentals

  • API-based data import/export (insert/upsert/update/delete)

  • Experience with annual go-to-market planning, management of sales territories, quota development.

Preferred:

  • Experience in an enterprise SaaS or software environment would be considered a plus.

  • Leverage SQL (Snowflake or similar) to extract, transform, and analyze data using joins, window functions, and CTEs.
