Job Description:

  • This position is part of the Content Strategy team within Norstella Content Operations.

  • The Analyst role is critical in the strategic direction of transformational programs and projects to address key business priorities in collaboration with cross-functional business units (technology, product, services etc.) focusing on:1. Optimization - Champion operational efficiency2. Utilization - Maximize data utility and unlock opportunities to leverage Norstella data across the business to drive value3. Thought Partnership - Spearhead data strategy and client engagement

  • Because we want to ensure our data works for our clients as well as possible, the Ontology Team will be closely involved in cross-company work to develop and apply consistent standards for our datasets.

  • In this role, the Analyst will be working closely with other members of the Ontology team to support the delivery of the team’s roadmap and other business requirements.

  • This will include support on mapping Norstella data to other third-party standards in line with best practice and appropriate in-house standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Mapping healthcare related data elements to standard terminologies.

  • Organising data elements hierarchically into structure taxonomies.

  • Reviewing dictionary updates and implementing appropriate revisions to mapping.

  • Creating and maintaining data mapping documentation.

  • Conducting data discovery alongside taxonomy development.

  • Explaining the context of classifications to colleagues.

  • Working closely with colleagues in product, content and data engineering on query resolution and standards development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferentially in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or equivalent field.

  • 3+ years’ experience preferably in a biopharma intelligence, business research, life sciences consulting domain.

  • Understanding of how life science data is published, captured and processed to translate real-world events into structured content.

  • Understanding of drug development lifecycle and processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint, Excel and PowerPoint, Monday.com, LucidChart, Jira, Confluence.
