Job Description
As a Senior Strategic Advisor, Enterprise Strategy, you will partner closely with senior leaders to advance enterprise priorities and deliver meaningful change. In this role, you will translate complex information into clear insights, support strategic decision‑making, and help drive high‑impact initiatives across the organization. You will be expected to drive work independently, proactively identify opportunities, and move initiatives forward with minimal direction in dynamic and ambiguous environments. Working across functions, you will align stakeholders, develop actionable recommendations, and turn strategy into execution as the organization evolves into a health solutions company. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, sound judgment, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to influence through clear thinking, collaboration, and a focus on measurable outcomes.
What You Will Do
Support Enterprise Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of enterprise strategies by analyzing market trends, regulatory dynamics, and evolving customer needs, translating insights into practical recommendations.
Drive Strategic Workstreams: Independently lead defined workstreams within high‑priority, cross‑enterprise initiatives, advancing work from analysis through execution with minimal direction.
Develop Actionable Insights: Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information into clear insights, options, and recommendations to support senior leader decision‑making.
Prepare Executive Ready Materials: Develop clear, concise presentations and materials for senior leaders and executives, supporting reviews, governance forums, and strategic discussions.
Advance Initiative Progress: Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, helping maintain momentum and ensuring initiatives move forward in ambiguous and fast‑changing environments.
Align Cross ‑Functional Stakeholders: Partner across functions to align inputs, gain buy‑in, and coordinate execution against shared enterprise priorities.
Translate Strategy into Execution: Help convert strategic direction into concrete actions, plans, and milestones that enable measurable progress and outcomes.
Focus on Measurable Impact: Support tracking of outcomes and performance metrics, ensuring strategic work drives tangible enterprise value.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
*Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.
$107,901.00 - $172,642.00
