VetsEZ Junior Project Manager (Remote Opportunity) in Remote, Florida
VetsEZ is seeking a Junior Project Manager. The Junior Project Manager will support senior project and program managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities. This role is ideal for an early-career project management professional looking to grow within a structured PMO environment while supporting complex, mission-driven federal programs.
The candidate must reside within the continental US and the role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day project management activities across one or more projects or workstreams
Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and task tracking artifacts
Track project milestones, action items, risks, and issues
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and meeting notes
Coordinate project meetings, stand-ups, and reviews
Support communication with team members, stakeholders, and partners
Assist with change management, dependency tracking, and requirements coordination
Ensure adherence to project management processes and reporting standards
Support continuous improvement of PM tools, templates, and processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience supporting projects or operational initiatives
Understanding of core project management concepts (scope, schedule, risks, dependencies)
Experience with project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Confluence)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Additional Qualifications:
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments
Experience supporting federal or government IT projects
CAPM or entry-level project management certification (or coursework toward certification)
