San Churro Accounts Receivable Specialist/ Accounts Payable Specialist in Remote, Colorado

Since 2006, we've grown to more than 65 locations worldwide, serving churros, Fairtrade coffee, ice cream, and cakes in a fun and welcoming environment.
We're now expanding into Colorado and building a strong remote team to support our U.S. operations.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist who can confidently take ownership of the accounts receivable function. This is a fully remote role, but you'll work closely with our finance and operations teams to keep everything running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing financial processes independently.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage the full accounts receivable process including billing, collections, and payment tracking
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up to ensure timely payments
Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare reports such as aging summaries and cash flow insights
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Work with internal teams to resolve billing questions quickly
Identify ways to improve processes and increase efficiency
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar
Solid Excel skills and comfort working with data
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
