OneDome Project Manager in Remote, Azerbaijan
Objectives of this role
Oversee daily project operations, ensuring tasks are progressing according to estimates and deadlines.
Maintain transparency on task status, potential risks, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate weekly prioritization and task assignments for the engineering team.
Facilitate regular sync-ups and retrospectives to improve efficiency and reduce blockers.
Monitor team capacity and performance data to optimize workload distribution and delivery accuracy.
Identify and manage risks to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee project delivery across multiple teams, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
Break down initiatives into actionable tasks and maintain up-to-date project boards, timelines, and documentation.
Track daily and weekly progress, resolve blockers, and manage dependencies to ensure smooth delivery flow.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to align on priorities, requirements, and delivery expectations.
Facilitate meetings, including planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Gather and analyze estimates, monitor progress against targets, and adjust plans as needed for on-time delivery.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring early visibility and proactive resolution.
Collect and analyze team capacity and performance data to improve planning accuracy and workload balance.
Report project health, risks, and progress updates to leadership and stakeholders, maintaining full transparency.
Lead retrospectives and drive continuous process improvements to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality.
Partner with the CTO, QA Lead, and Product Manager to evaluate team performance and optimize collaboration.
Foster effective communication across teams, promoting accountability, visibility, and alignment.
Required skills and qualifications
Min. C1 levels of English and Russian
Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar coordination role in a software environment.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and PM workflows.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining visibility and control over progress.
Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
Skilled in risk identification, mitigation, and cross-functional coordination.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and focused on team efficiency and continuous improvement.
Open-minded and proactive, with a passion for delivering real value to the team and product
Preferred skills and qualifications
Experience in Product management/ QA or BA will be a plus
Familiarity with performance metrics, capacity planning, and delivery forecasting.
