About the Role
As an SAP Security Consultant at DyFlex, you will provide hands-on SAP Security support across multiple customer environments, including ECC, S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud. This role is primarily focused on BAU/AMS activities, ensuring the ongoing stability, security and compliance of customer systems.
You will work closely with customers, functional consultants and internal teams to support and maintain SAP security and authorisation solutions in a fast-paced consulting environment, while also contributing to small enhancements and project-related activities where required.
Remote / Flexible work from anywhere in Australia.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day SAP Security support across ECC, S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud environments
Perform user provisioning, role assignments, and access changes in line with customer processes, supporting both position-based security and direct role security
Troubleshoot and resolve authorisation issues, including analysis of SU53, STAUTHTRACE, and related tools
Maintain and update SAP roles and authorisations using PFCG and SU24, including role remediation and clean-up activities
Provide risk-compliant recommendations to ensure secure and compliant access across customer environments
Perform SAP license optimisation activities, including analysis of user access and role assignments to align with licensing models (e.g. FUE, Star Report)
Design, maintain and troubleshoot Fiori security including catalog, space/page and role assignments, and resolve Fiori access and authorisation issues
Handle BAU/AMS tickets, incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
Perform user access reviews and access risk analysis, and support remediation activities (SAP GRC Access Control / IAG where applicable)
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve security-related issues aligned to business processes
Contribute to small enhancements, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain clear and concise documentation for support activities and processes
Your qualifications and experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in an SAP Security role within an AMS/BAU support environment
Strong hands-on experience in SAP Security across ECC, S/4HANA and SAP Public Cloud
Solid understanding of SAP authorisation concepts and role design
Strong Knowledge of Fiori security concepts and configuration
Exposure to access risk and compliance requirements (e.g. GRC / IAG, audits, access reviews)
Experience or exposure to SAP license optimisation (e.g. FUE, STAR Report, USMM)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical and process information clearly
Strong time management and prioritisation skills in a BAU/AMS environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and engage effectively with customers and stakeholders
Experience with SAP GRC Access Control; SAP IAG is desirable
