Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and oversee production operations in our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling and assigning work to employees, ensuring they are qualified to perform both current and future tasks, and advising them on safe work practices. The role involves monitoring employee performance, conducting safety meetings, and maintaining effective communication throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Schedule and assign employees to work.
Monitor and schedule training opportunities to ensure employee qualifications for current and future tasks.
Advise, coach, and train employees on safe and proper work practices.
Track and document employee attendance and time for payroll purposes.
Conduct safety meetings and audits.
Maintain open communication throughout the facility.
Monitor employee performance and deliver constructive feedback.
Ensure equipment is in safe and proper running condition, taking corrective action as needed.
Document daily activities such as production reports, safety meeting forms, and various incident reports.
Ensure employees have the proper training, skills, abilities, and tools to perform their work efficiently and safely.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reisterstown, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
