The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Global SAP Security Consultant in Regional Office, Brazil

This position of Global SAP Security Consultant is a member of IT SAP COE, reporting to the IT Team Lead who is responsible for the respective functional area. The incumbent will design, implement and support SAP security solutions for cross-functional processes on global level by following the global security guidelines and policies. This position will work in partnership with Global & cross functional business/IT teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Implementation of SAP Security and provision of role support to both the business and the SAP support teams ensuring application security is at the highest level. Conduct periodic evaluation tests to ensure access provided is compliant as part of overall business process control environment.

  • Analyze business needs and translate into technical specifications and implement them by considering the global toolset, policies and guidelines. Provide support to business for troubleshooting, investigating queries, analyzing and solving issues. Discuss issues, problems and security requirements with functional experts and define actions to resolve.

  • Provide knowledge transfer on current technologies to relevant stakeholders. Support cost/benefit analysis through evaluation of alternative design approaches to determine best-balanced solution. Best-balanced solution is one that satisfies the immediate stakeholder needs, meets system requirements and facilitates subsequent changes.

  • Work on small/medium scale projects and contribute to designing and implementing security concepts. Assume leadership role in a small size initiative by playing the key contributor or facilitator.

  • Troubleshoot, investigate and persist. Develop solutions to problems with unknown causes where precedents do not exist by applying logic and inference with creativity and initiative. Provide cross-functional support and maintenance for responsible business/technical areas.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or in lieu of degree 9 years of IT experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP Processes, plus ideally in SAP Security and SAP profile generator

  • Implementation of new SAP applications/processes or ideally experience in implementing SAP Security in small to medium type ofprojects

  • Experience in designing and implementation ofSAP Security for business processes

  • Practice through projects in SAP GRC Access Control would be beneficial

  • Ability to work flexible working hours if required and to work in dynamic and virtual environment. Travel as required
