Quality Control Technician (3rd Shift)
Description
Spending 75% on production floor. Need to have a quality presence. Rest is desk work
Cross trained to cover lab testing when needed- not a constant duty
Lab Testing: using a FOSS machine to test for moisture, fats and salt. Will also be doing pH testing
QC auditor on the floor
Not running packaging or scale up during 3rd shift b/c they are sanitizing
Will be doing sanitation audits on 3rd shift- main qualify aspect of 3rd shift role
Environmental swabbing
Additional Skills & Qualifications
HS diploma with 1-3 years in food industry
Any further education in food science is helpful
1-3 years under GMP regulations (GDP and SQF is a plus)
Trustworthy and independent worker
Self motivated
Okay being the “police” on shift- making sure team is following procedures
Bilingual is preferred or stronger Spanish background
Good communication skills- will be emailing different departments
Internal auditing experience- plus
HACCP knowledge- plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reeseville, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
