Job Summary
Were hiring a Civil Construction Laborer / Heavy Equipment Operator to support substation civil work. This is a hands-on role involving site work, equipment operation, and working closely with foremen and crews to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.
What Youll Do
- Perform general civil construction labor
- Assist with grading, excavation, trenching, and backfill
- Operate heavy equipment (excavator, loader, skid steer, roller, etc.)
- Support concrete work, foundations, duct banks, and drainage
- Follow safety rules and participate in daily toolbox talks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
What Were Looking For
- 2+ years civil construction experience (utility or substation preferred)
- Heavy equipment operating experience
- Strong work ethic and safety mindset
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Preferred (Not Required)
- Substation or energized site experience
- OSHA safety training
- CDL
- First Aid / CPR
