Aston Carter Finance & Accounting Program Manager in Redwood City, California

Description

o Monthly School of Medicine reporting and meeting facilitation o Research and facilitate PB Patient Disputes o Process PB Workqueues o Educate and facilitate PB POS 11 Clinic billing, charge code research and workflows o Submit PB CDM requests collaboration & outreach to HB billing o Investigate professional component write-offs (e.g. No Documentation, Medical Necessity, Untimely Ins-Phys Posted Late, Coding and No ABN) impacting wRVUs o Answer questions from PBO & SMO on accounts related to profees o Perform and deliver ad-hoc reporting requests related to professional charges o wRVU research & resolution o Profee charge reconciliation, charge corrections, posting and audits o Perform provider onboarding education o Facilitate resolution of coding, billing and compliance questions o Initiate SER Profile Updates in o Update provider SER profiles in the Epic system (may include coordination with Provider Enrollment, MSO & APP Managers to ensure provider is fully credentialed and able to see patients. Also assign correct taxonomy & specialty codes (APPs only) o Coordinate with billing, coding, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies or system issues arising from SER or preference list changes, as well as Epic Orders functioning with correct codes. o Attend meetings

o Proficient in hospital and professional revenue cycle operations. o Expert in analyzing revenue data to identify trends and opportunities with the capacity to communicate findings effectively to varied audiences. Ability to analyze revenue data and identify trends and opportunities and the ability to present such data to a variety of audiences. o Strong Interpersonal skills facilitating seamless communication with clinical staff, and faculty that allow ease of communication with Clinical staff and faculty o Solid understanding of coding conventions and current third-party payer rules and regulations Knowledge of coding conventions. o Current knowledge of third party payer rules and regulations. o Knowledge of management and supervision and the ability to organize staff’s work. o Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate analyses and finding to Chairs, DFAs and Clinical Operations leadership. Ability to write, and speak to the analyses performed. o Proven Ability to provide leadership skills in problem identification and issue resolution. o Ability to influence decision-making through persuasive data-supported arguments. Ability to change the course of events through convincing arguments supported by data. o Ability to apply critical thinking skills to complex issues and situations. o Competence in mediating and solving intricate work problems. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.20 - $87.33/hr.
