Job Description:
As an APS Manager, supports the Army Materiel Command (AMC) Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) Branch will:
Perform APS planning in support of Army Service Component Command War Plans.
Ensure that all elements from the Operational Needs Statement through the final HQ DA G3 release of APS equipment memorandum are fully coordinated.
Perform the duties as primary back-up for an APS area of operation (AOR), by attending all meetings with the Combatant Command (COCOM) and disseminates information from those meetings to the APS primary lead and stakeholders to ensure that all AMC required actions or request for information are addressed.
Represents the APS Division while attending Army Campaign Plan Strategic efforts, Army watercraft IPR, EDA Common Operational Picture Working Group, APS Strategy OPT, ASM and all APS working groups/Operations Planning Teams.
Provide analysis for each effort to determine current and long-term implications for APS equities to ensure that request for information (RFI), taskers, or other requirements are completed and briefed to APS leadership.
Prepare Operational Orders, Fragmentary Orders and Warning Orders.
Compile and reviews One-liners for submission.
Support the APS-2/3/4/5 Area of Responsibility for AMC support.
Monitor the Operational Needs Process for the APS Branch.
Perform financial analysis.
Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
BS/BA degree plus 12 years of relevant experience.
Logistics experience in planning, storage, and distribution of Army Pre-positioned Stocks.
Prior experience working on Army Staff, ACOM or ASCC level of support desired.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to write, edit and proofread variety of presentations, position papers and memoranda.
Strong interpersonal, listening, and questioning skills able to interact effectively with senior Army Staff clients on a daily basis.
Adaptable to flexible work styles, environments, and locations.
Must be self-directed, detail oriented, and resourceful in completing assigned tasks and projects within assigned deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Active Secret clearance required.
