MICROSOFT CORP Technical Program Management in Redmond, Washington

Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators. Perform engineering duties related to the planning and designing of Microsoft's tools or other mechanically functioning equipment. Monitor installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of Microsoft technologies or systems as necessary to control the lifecycle of dynamic projects and encourage best practices. Collaborate with cross functional teams regarding operations planning, production control, configuration, deployment, and improvement measures. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Requirements:

-Education: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Hardware Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

-Experience: 24 months experience in technical advisory and project management.

-Specific Skills: This position requires 24 months of experience in each of the following: Serviceability design for scalable hardware support; Developing Integration and system requirements across hardware and software interfaces; Mechanical design reviews using CAD tools; Risk mitigation through system design reviews; Integration strategies within hardware infrastructure; Validation of tooling for field service readiness; and Operational excellence, including PMO aligned workflow optimization.

-Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG17796668), in Redmond, WA, is $154,900 to $184,900 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.?  

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
