Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Support Engineer 5 to join their team. As a Support Engineer 5, you will be part of the Security and Compliance Department supporting accessibility and security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently across multiple teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Support Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA - 100% Remote

Pay Range: $46.18 - $50.83 (Benefits/PTO/401K)

What's the Job?

  • Perform manual accessibility assessments of web properties and digital experiences based on WCAG standards.

  • Execute and troubleshoot automated accessibility scans using enterprise tools.

  • Review and manage the inventory of accessibility scanning tools and configurations.

  • Provide guidance and support to engineering teams to remediate accessibility findings.

  • Maintain accurate assessment results, reporting dashboards, and documentation.

What's Needed?

  • Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 (AA minimum) and experience with manual accessibility testing.

  • Experience with automated scanning tools such as Accessibility Insights.

  • Relevant accessibility certification (e.g., IAAP CPACC, WAS, or equivalent).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for false positives, configuration issues, and scan failures.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate accessibility issues clearly to technical teams.
