Job Description:  

Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity

Responsible for developing or testing computer software applications, systems or services. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for data center critical environments. Work with physical infrastructure and resources within a Data Center. Implement and manage data-centric applications. Develop and optimize software using multiple general-purpose programming languages. Apply engineering principles to build and deploy cloud applications. Create and maintain architecture diagrams. Develop and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications with custom Large Language Models (LLMs). Automate incident management processes. Utilize various messaging and event-driven services. Create custom business applications and automate workflows. Develop advanced BI reporting solutions. Perform data visualization and monitoring. Manipulate and analyze data effectively. Manage maintenance activities and inventory tracking. Implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. Use various development and collaboration tools. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.  

*Requirements: * 

  • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 24 months in any occupation(s) in which software development experience formulating and analyzing software requirements utilizing C, C++, C# and/or another high-level programming language was gained.
  • Experience: 48 months in any occupation(s) in which software development experience formulating and analyzing software requirements utilizing C, C++, C# and/or another high-level programming language was gained.
  • Specific Skills: This position requires at least 48 months of experience in: Working with physical infrastructure and resources within a Data Center, including Critical Environments, Networking, and Server-based hardware; Electrical, mechanical, controls, and monitoring systems, such as Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) and Building Automation System (BAS) data; Azure Services: Kusto, Cosmos, Logic Apps, Functions, Storage, SQL, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, and Active Directory; Data-Centric applications such as Kusto, Azure Data Explorer, or Kusto (KQL); Computerized Management Maintenance Systems; and Power Platform / Dynamics 365 / Canvas and Model Driven Apps; and at least 36 months of experience in: BI reporting using Power BI, as well as data modeling, report creation, and leveraging advanced analytics features.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (V2480928), in Redmond, WA, is $212,202 to $242,202 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
