Overview
Microsoft’s Brand & Advertising team is evolving how creative work is produced—bringing production leadership in‑house and closer to the creative process to deliver greater speed, scale, and impact. We are seeking a Senior Digital Producer to lead high‑volume digital production, owning large‑scale, always‑on digital programs that power Microsoft’s performance and lifecycle marketing efforts.
The Senior Digital Producer will play a pivotal role in helping Microsoft modernize digital production at scale. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role, responsible not only for delivering complex workstreams, but for shaping production systems, mentoring teams, and raising the bar for how high‑volume digital creative is planned, produced, and delivered across the organization.
Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end production for large‑scale, high‑volume digital programs (including digital display, websites, apps, and custom partner integrations)
Strong understanding of media, platform, and performance requirements
Define production approaches, timelines, and resourcing models
Partner with creative, media, and campaign leadership to execute campaigns
Mentor producers and coordinators, setting standards for excellence
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tooling, and scalability
Balance speed, quality, and cost across complex, interconnected workstreams
Drive adoption of modern and AI‑enabled production practices
Budget ownership
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years experience in professional production environment (e.g., lighting, shooting, audio recording, web production, writing), post-production environment, or broadcasting (e.g., local news)
OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
10–12+ years of experience in advertising or digital production
Proven experience leading high‑volume digital production at scale
Solid understanding of media, platform, and performance requirements
Experience mentoring and leading through influence
Track record of improving production systems and workflows
Experience integrating new tools or technologies into production preferred
Experience managing multi million dollar budgets
Video Production IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
