Amazon Executive Assistant I, AWS Database Services in Redmond, Washington

Description

Amazon is seeking dedicated, multitasking, and customer obsessed individual to support two Directors of Databases Services team at AWS.

This role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. The candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

Key job responsibilities

• Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars

• Management of multiple complex calendars and scheduling requirements

• Acting as a liaison for direct reports

• Driving key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)

• Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables

• Travel coordination for executives

• Participating in planning of events

• Having fun at work and helping others do the same

• This position will work with other assistants throughout the Database Services and across the rest of the company

Basic Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

  • Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround

  • Experience managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience managing multiple calendars

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
