Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to contribute to the assembly and integration of satellite components and related products. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to work with various sub-assemblies and components.
Responsibilities
Build small electrical sub-assemblies.
Perform mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, subassemblies, and integration of final vehicle assemblies.
Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis.
Build battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
Conduct wire harnessing and solder/desolder through-hole and SMT components.
Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application, and coating processes.
Run functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardown.
Operate and troubleshoot complex automated equipment.
Support the development of prototype test capabilities for spacecraft component development and life tests.
Assist in the identification, installation, and implementation of test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, track calibration schedules.
Perform preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
Identify test equipment requirements, maintain test consumables inventory, and develop test procedures.
Perform test setups for various regimes - thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, vibration.
Manage schedule priorities and execute work independently to meet company deliverables.
Essential Skills
1 year of relevant hands-on work experience in electromechanical, mechanical, or electronic assembly.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with wire harness, sub-assembly, work instruction, blueprint reading, and schematic diagrams.
Knowledge in electrical wiring, soldering, and IPC standards (610, 620, J-Standard).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration, or mechanical assembly.
Associate degree preferred.
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, controlled documentation, and processes.
Proficiency in using a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing, precision manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing environment.
IPC and/or J-STD certification.
Soldering and prototype development experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $72800.00/yr.
