Assembly Technician

Location: Redmond or Woodinville, WA
Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 4 PM or 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 2 AM
Overtime: Regular overtime required, including weekends, typical workweeks are 50+ hours depending on production needs.
Pay: $22-35/hr, depending on experience
Job Description
We are hiring Electromechanical Assemblers to support the build, integration, and testing of satellite components. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. You’ll work with sub‑assemblies, PCB assemblies, harnessing, and final system integration.
Responsibilities
Build small electrical sub-assemblies.
Perform mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, subassemblies, and integration of final vehicle assemblies.
Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis.
Build battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
Conduct wire harnessing and soldering
Run functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardown.
Perform preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
Skills
1+ year of relevant hands-on work experience in electromechanical, mechanical, or electronic assembly.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with wire harness, sub-assembly, work instruction, blueprint reading, and schematic diagrams.
Knowledge in electrical wiring, soldering, and IPC standards preferred
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration, mechanical assembly, or mechanic / lube technician preferred.
Associate degree preferred.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, controlled documentation, and processes.
Soldering and prototype development experience.

Work Environment
The role involves lifting up to 25 lbs and requires standing for long periods. Tasks may involve climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching. The work primarily involves standing assembly tasks

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $72800.00/yr.
