Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate machinery such as CNC Lathes, Mills and Multi Axis Machines with precision and care.
- Utilize CAD software, including SolidWorks, to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Monitor production processes for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery and understanding its functions.
- Experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Knowledge of assembly line processes and best practices.
- Experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills is beneficial.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
