Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Essential Skills
Proven ability to set up and operate press brake and roll forming equipment for metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specification documents.
Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to meeting all quality and safety standards.
Proficient use of measuring tools such as protractors, calipers, and tape measures to verify dimensions and angles.
Knowledge and understanding of basic arithmetic for measuring, calculating, and verifying part dimensions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanical or machine manufacturing processes.
Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in a production environment.
Experience working with press brake equipment and metal forming processes.
Dependable work habits with a track record of reliability and follow-through on commitments.
Ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with others.
Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for precision and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds and perform physically active work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift.
High School Diploma and/or GED certification.
Mechanical or machine manufacturing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using various manual and powered hand tools in a production or fabrication environment.
Approximately 2–4 years of press brake experience, preferred.
Approximately 2–4 years of roll forming experience, preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to bring solutions and enjoy tackling challenges.
Curious and improvement-focused mindset with the courage to take initiative and drive better performance.
Ability to maintain trust, put internal and external customers first, and consistently perform at a high level.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Reamstown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
