Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Direct and supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate
- Monitor project budgets and control costs through effective resource management and procurement strategies
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and safety records
- Lead supervising teams on-site, providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance feedback
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in construction site management with a strong background in Bridge construction.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, quality control measures, and safety protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Supervisory experience supervising diverse teams of tradespeople and subcontractors effectively
- Excellent management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
