Position:
Heavy Highway Construction Carpenterin Vermont, NY. The successful candidate will be an important member of the construction team and will report directly to a site Supervisor.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a range of tasks (such as site demo, cleaning, moving materials and assisting other trades) as needed
- Physical demands such as standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects under a variety of environmental conditions
- Concrete forming and finishing on various structures
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all rules and regulations.
- Must provide certain hand tools necessary for the job
- Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate night and weekend work if necessary
Ideal Candidate:
- Must pass a pre hire drug screen.
- Must have or the ability to pass OSHA 10 training
- Must have active drivers license, reliable vehicle and willing to travel to job sites.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
