Job Overview

L&H Companies is seeking a full-time, high-level Project Manager for their Project Management Department to manage custom interior and exterior projects from approval of sale through final installation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Work with sales executives to determine customer needs and define expectations
2. Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
3. Managing projects, budgets, timelines
4. Understanding contract documents
5. Assisting with field operations
6. Maintaining client relationships
7. Conduct code checks, obtaining municipal code and landlord criteria
8. Prepare RFQ's, purchase and installation orders as required to manufacture and install signage
9. Coordinate design, engineering, permitting, fabrication, shipping and installation to keep project on schedule
10. Resolve or escalate any issue that may occur with the projects
11. Track project information in the database and provide timely and accurate status reports to clients and management
12. Provide prompt and accurate billing and closeout for completed projects
13. Ability to plan, execute, and deliver desired results

Desired Qualifications

1. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Construction Management preferred
2. Five years of industry experience or translatable specialties such as exhibit display, architectural metals and/or specialty construction/fabrication preferred
3. Willingness to travel based on client needs
4. Excellence in client communications/customer relations
5. Experience in scheduling, estimating and installation coordination highly desired

Computer savvy, MS Office proficiency

1. The ability to take direction and suggestions in an open collaborative way
2. Requires strong problem-solving skills and great attention to details
3. Permitting and Code research experience
4. Proficiency with Gantt chart creation and/or project timelines
5. Ability to maintain workplace organization
