Aerotek Production Operator in Reading, Pennsylvania
Job Title: Production Operator paying up to $22 per hour in Reading, PA
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our team, working on either the 1st or 2nd swing shift from 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper running and cleaning of production equipment in the safe manufacture of powder coatings at our facilities. Operators may be placed in Grinding, Weigh Up, or Extrusion production areas.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of production assets to ensure they are operated safely and according to established procedures and industry best practices.
Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, process data collection, and administrative tasks as per procedures and control systems.
Report safety, quality, or other issues related to products or production processes to Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.
Ensure all production targets are met while maintaining appropriate quality standards.
Attend and contribute to meetings.

Work Environment
Work directly on the manufacturing floor in a climate-controlled environment, as part of a team of about five people per section. You will be working with older machinery in conditions that include some dust in the air, but maintained clean facilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
