General Summary
As a Forensic Program Supervisor, you will provide general behavioral health clinical supervision in addition to being responsible for development, oversight, and community outreach for the BCJS program.

- Ensure compliance with all Berks County Jail System requirements.
- Ensure a positive relationship with all employees of the Berks County Jail System.
- Serve as an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Ensures effective use of integrated treatment team including Peer Support, Certified Recovery Support, Case Management, Health Coaching, Care Coordination, Counseling, Primary Care, MOUD, and Psychiatry.
- Provides individual and group clinical and administrative supervision for the treatment team.
Requirements
To qualify for the position, you will need...
- Master's degree in a related social services field.
- ·Internal applicants require a minimum of one (1) year in the Lead Counselor position, participation in BCC's leadership program, or Team Leader position
- External candidates require at least two (2) years of experience providing and one (1) year overseeing mental health and substance abuse services.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours of operation, which are 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-4pm Friday with Saturday hours, when applicable.

- SEEING: Must be able to read and interpret documents and read and analyze data on a computer screen for prolonged periods.

- LIFTING/PULLING/PUSHING: Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.

- Receipt of the originals of the following background checks: PA State Police Criminal History, PA State Child Abuse, and DPW FBI Criminal History. These clearances must be valid within the 60 months prior to employment. A conviction is not a bar to employment; however, a review will be conducted to make a determination of employment should a conviction be present.
- Receipt of original documentation and verification of relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates, or licensure.
- Confirmation that you are not on the OIG Federal Healthcare Program Exclusion from Participation list. Should you appear on this list, Berks Counseling Center is prohibited from employing you.
