Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Test Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in managing projects and teams, designing engineering specifications, and troubleshooting complex issues. You will also ensure the quality and reliability of ECU specifications through rigorous testing and verification processes.
Responsibilities
Manage projects and teams by breaking down project details and planning ECU development activities without oversight from technical leadership.
Coordinate technical project details with stakeholders and negotiate deliverable schedules.
Design engineering specifications for Powertrain ECU applications, including electrical circuit hardware and software using tools such as MATLAB Simulink or MS VISIO.
Create design concepts and convert them into requirements and functional specifications, conducting design reviews with technical leadership.
Support and mentor engineers on complex design implementations and best practices.
Conduct engineering troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution design using industry-standard tools and methods in prototype or mass production level vehicles.
Test and verify ECU specifications related to hardware and software, ensuring proper electrical functional performance, quality, and reliability.
Create test result reports and conduct verification reviews with technical leadership.
Mentor and support other engineers in efficient test planning and execution.
Ensure conformity of assigned systems to external requirements such as Regulations, ISO standards, Cyber Security, and other necessary certifications.
Lead and mentor engineers on system-specific implementations of external requirements.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in hardware testing and electrical engineering.
Experience with electrical test procedures and testing.
Knowledge of automotive powertrain systems and CAN protocol.
Experience with ECU testing.
Familiarity with industry tools such as MATLAB Simulink and MS VISIO.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.
Understanding of external requirements such as Regulations, ISO standards, and Cyber Security certifications.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
