Actalent Automotive Electrical Test Engineer in Raymond, Ohio
Job Title: Test EngineerJob Description
As a Test Engineer, you will apply engineering principles, experiences, and various analysis tools to develop test plans and procedures for testing design parts and components in your area of specialty.
Responsibilities
Create data settings, test specifications, and standards, and establish test schedules.
Prepare and set up test equipment, conduct moderately complex tests, and document and summarize test results.
Perform testing across all chassis sections, with a particular focus on brake testing.
Conduct both vehicle and component level hands-on testing at proving grounds and in labs/dynos.
Review, log, and analyze test data to make recommendations.
Collaborate with drivers and technicians.
Support process improvements and undertake miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with test equipment and test engineering.
Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with electrical systems and drivetrain components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Work Environment
The role involves working in both TRC and ADC environments, requiring frequent travel between these locations. This position provides a great opportunity to gain skills for entry to mid-level candidates.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raymond, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
