Line Cook

Job Summary Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring food quality, consistency, and timely execution during service.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock your station before service with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare ingredients through chopping, marinating, portioning, and other prep work
  • Cook menu items to order, following established recipes and plating standards
  • Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and temperature controls at all times
  • Communicate with the team and expediter to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution
  • Clean and sanitize your station throughout and at the end of each shift
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory as needed
  • Adapt to high-volume, fast-paced conditions while maintaining quality

Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen experience preferred; culinary training a plus
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods in a hot environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
