Journeyman Technician
Diagnose complex mechanical
,
electrical, and electronic issues using advanced automotive diagnostics tools and schematics
Perform repairs on powertrain components
,
including engines
,
transmissions
,
and drive systems
,
with precision and efficiency
Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes
,
brake replacements
,
tire alignments
,
and fluid checks
Repair or replace automotive electrical systems and other electronic modules
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs accurately
Read and interpret technical schematics and service manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively
Ensure all work complies with safety standards
,
manufacturer specifications
,
and quality control procedures
Documenting relevant information including vehicle
,
inspection, trouble shooting and repair steps made during all repairs

Requirements
Proven mechanic experience with dealership
or
automotive repair shop background preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems
,
diesel engine repair
,
and vehicle maintenance procedures
Experience working on heavy machinery
Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation
Ability to perform wheel alignments and work on powertrain components with precision
Mechanical aptitude complemented by excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
Proficiency in using hand
tools
, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools
Valid certification as a Journeyman Technician or equivalent technical training in automotive repair
