Position Overview:
This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing fuel delivery and industrial pumping systems on propane bobtails and fuel trucks, along with related field equipment. You’ll work both in the shop and on-site, handling real‑world mechanical and electrical challenges that keep essential systems running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Repair and service pumps, meters, reels, and fuel delivery components
Transfer tank systems from older trucks to new builds
Calibrate fuel meters and perform required inspections and pressure testing
Diagnose and repair DC electrical systems on trucks and equipment
Perform maintenance and repairs on loading and fueling systems in the field
Occasionally assist with compressed air systems, pressure washers, and other industrial pumping applications
Schedule & Hours:
Full-time
Monday – Friday
Consistent daytime hours
Skills & Experience Needed:
Mechanical experience required
Experience with propane or fuel systems preferred, but not required
DC electrical experience required
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Must have own basic hand tools
Clean, valid driver’s license required
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
Pay & Benefits:
$20.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Pay increases as skills, knowledge, and certifications grow

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rapid City, SD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
