JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Sales SupportDepartment:SalesReports to:Sr. Sales CoordinatorEffective Date:March 2021Summary: Works closely Sr. Sales Coordinator (s) sales reps and brokers. The department is responsible for the successful implementation of new accounts and proper reporting and maintenance of current onesDuties and Responsibilities:•Maintains a healthy relationship with existing customers while opening new customers accounts•Provides sales and administrative support involving handling of agreements and price lists •Assists in the implementation of sales strategies and campaigns to increase sales and/or promote item(s)•Promotes the growth of web sales to food service (FS) sales•Runs special reports as requested by the Sr. Sales Coordinator•Prepares business letters, customer agreements, sales reports, and sales presentations •Updates/Maintains the status of customers in the database (contact info, addresses, client item codes, etc.)•Coordinates meetings via Microsoft Outlook •Communicates and follows up with sales leads via phone and email •Sets up sales leads and new customers into our database•Completes new customer requirements (documents i.e. W-9, Certificate of insurance, new vendor form, etc.)•Provides customers with QAQC documentation they require with purchase of good(s) •Coordinates sample orders (prepares kits, creates order in live system and sends tracking information)•Runs price comparison reports •Responsible for new item setups•Handles/assists with complex customer issues/inquiries •Acts as a liaison between departments and outside sales staff•Coordinates tradeshow calendar and orders•Order trade booth furnishings such as carpet, electric etc.•Register Attendees for badges•Book hotel when needed•Track convenience show - arrange broker show needs•Gather show samples•Arrange/prepare tradeshow booth and other needed materials•Enter show invoices and track freight.•Help with sales samples and tracking•Help collect and gather product samples for photos•Printing flyers and brochures•Help tracking website•Print labels when needed•General office support when neededQualifications and Skills required:•Excellent polite and persuasive communication skills•Passionate, hard worker and well-organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask•Should exert sound judgment, discretion and preserve confidentiality•Ability to meet deadlines•Good liaison with all other department members•Able to work in and gather a team.•Attention to detail•Able to work independentlySupervisory Responsibilities:•No supervisory responsibilities Education:•High School Graduate or GED, Associate degree, or combination of education and experience will be considered as an Associate level.•Experience 2 years or more •Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) knowledge is required Physical Demands and work environment:•Frequent use of computer•Clear vision•Frequent use of hands, fingers and arms•Frequent walk •Able to lift 25 lbs. - 50 lbs.Job Description Disclaimer: The above job description is meant to describe the general responsibilities associated with the position.
