Job Title: Pallet Builder Job Description
As a shipping and receiving specialist, you will play a crucial role in the distribution of automated packaging machinery to consumer-packaged goods companies worldwide. This position requires strong carpentry skills to construct skids and crates for global shipping. The ideal candidate is a reliable and proactive team player, ready to engage in shipping and receiving tasks, as well as other company duties during downtime.
Responsibilities
Build heavy-duty skids and crates to ship packaging machinery weighing over 5000 lbs and measuring more than 30 ft long.
Receive all outside purchase and fabricated parts.
Label and coordinate with the project management team all inbound cartons and products for machine testing.
Debur, buff, and tumble fabricated parts going to outside finish.
Essential Skills
Strong carpentry skills
Experience with assembly
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
General labor and material handling experience
Ability to measure accurately with a tape measure
Mechanically inclined
