TEKsystems Overnight Medical Scheduler in Randallstown, Maryland
Job Summary
We are seeking a customer ‑ focused Overnight Medical Scheduler to support patient needs during overnight hours. This role serves as a central point of contact for incoming calls, patient requests, and internal coordination, ensuring timely communication and follow ‑ through in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ call ‑ volume environment.
This is an entry ‑ level opportunity ideal for candidates with strong phone, call center, or switchboard experience. Prior healthcare experience is not required, though scheduling or medical office experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments as needed
Monitor patient rooms and respond to call bells to assess patient needs
Transfer calls to appropriate departments and coordinate emergency overhead paging when required
Follow up on all patient requests and calls to ensure issues are resolved promptly
Accurately document call details and scheduling activity in the system
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Required Skills & Qualifications
Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service mindset
Basic to intermediate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems
Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ volume call environment
Flexibility to work an overnight shift

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randallstown, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
