Description
We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our finance team with essential day-to-day tasks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with numbers, and ensuring financial data is accurate and up to date. You’ll play a key role in keeping accounting operations running smoothly while gaining valuable experience in a professional office environment.
What You'll Do
Enter and process invoices, payments, and financial transactions
Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities
Reconcile discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support data entry and reporting tasks for the accounting team
Assist with filing, scanning, and document management
Help with basic bank reconciliations and expense tracking
Provide general administrative support to the finance department
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred)
One to two years of clerical or accounting support experience
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Exposure to accounts payable/receivable processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
