Overview
This ADX/DCT System Administrator Position is located at Kapaun AS, Germany
Responsibilities
Administer, operate, and maintain virtualized infrastructure services using vCenter, Virtual Network machine (VNM), or other tools as appropriate and available
providing support ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 2 support as determined by the Government
Possess and maintain DoDD 8570 IAM Level II Certification
Possess and maintain journeyman/administrator-level certification appropriate to the ADX and A6CN/A654 operating environment (e.g., VMWare using vCenter, Virtual Network Machine (VNM), or other tools as appropriate and available)
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics or business/finance.
This position requires a minimum of four years’ experience, of which at least three years must be specialized experience in administrating computer systems.
General experience includes operations experience on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network
Possess and maintain DoDD 8570 IAM Level II Certification
Possess and maintain journeyman/administrator-level certification appropriate to the ADX and A6CN/A654 operating environment (e.g., VMWare using vCenter, Virtual Network Machine (VNM), or other tools as appropriate and available)
Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:
A Master’s Degree (in subjects described above) and three years general experience of which at least two years must be specialized experience, or.
Associate degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience; or
Major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience; or
No Degree and 11 years of recent specialized experience.
