Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch, tailored to meet each customer's specifications. You will cut the piping to the required length and braze it together, working off blueprints as necessary. Additionally, you will assist in assembling the structures that house these racks, involving significant physical activity such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Brazing copper to copper piping with an oxyacetylene torch.
Cutting and assembling piping based on customer specifications and blueprints.
Assisting in the assembly of housing structures for racks.
Working collaboratively in a team of 3-4 individuals in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in mechanical assembly and brazing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
Experience with hand tools and tape measure for precise measurements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ months of experience in mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction.
Mechanical aptitude, potentially demonstrated by experience in plumbing, welding, or machinery repair.
Flexibility to assist in other areas such as MIG welding on mild steel if skilled.

Work Environment
You will work in a large manufacturing building alongside a team of 3-4 people. The environment is fast-paced and well-lit, maintaining cleanliness although the nature of work may lead to getting dirty. The work schedule runs from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Although there is no air conditioning, fans are provided to maintain airflow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
