About the Opportunity:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Direct, assist and perform all functions of Laser operation and set up ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate machinery according to job guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner.
Wear and use required safety attire and equipment at all times
Perform all aspects of job in a quality conscious manner
Advise supervisor of shortages or poor quality materials/products
Accurately count all pieces to ensure no extra or missing parts
Tag completed jobs with date, quantity, and producers name and put it in the proper place.
Maintain a neat and clean work area
Assist other departments as requested
Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents or injuries to supervisor
Maintain all equipment in the department as guidelines direct (daily, weekly, etc.)
Work overtime as required to meet production demands
Accountable to meet productivity and quality standards
Complete all required paperwork in a correct and timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
Dependable, punctual, efficient, quality conscious
Honest, trustworthy, fair and courteous to co-workers, a team player
Ability to read tape measure
Ability to read blueprints and process sheets
Possess tools necessary for the job
Good physical condition, able to lift at least 50 pounds
Knowledge in programming and operation of CNC machine tools
Eager to improve self and attend additional training and/or school
Submit to a comprehensive vision exam
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience in metal fabrication
Prefer lead experience
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.

Your base wage will be between $24.00- $30.50 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 2nd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
