The Opportunity
This role is on a hybrid schedule in our Detroit , MI or Charlotte, NC office, in office a few days weekly.
As a Senior Analyst, Project Management, you will plan and deliver HR projects—typically small to medium in scope—including system enhancements and process improvements across HR Centers of Excellence. You will lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, using Agile and hybrid practices prescribed by the HR Portfolio Management Team, to deliver outcomes on time, within scope, and to quality standards that improve HR efficiency, data quality, and employee experience.
You will own the project plan and schedule, manage risks, dependencies, and issues, coordinate stakeholders across HR, IT, and other functions. You will proactively identify interdependencies across COEs and with parallel projects, escalating and resolving conflicts as needed. Operating with limited supervision, you will exercise sound judgment in day-to-day delivery and provide clear, concise status reporting and decision support to the Manager, HR Portfolio Management, and, as appropriate, Ally senior leadership.
The Work Itself
Own end-to-end delivery for multiple projects ranging in complexity, from kickoff to launch and post-launch stabilization
Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and critical paths
Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and blockers
Participate in recurring ceremonies and cadences (standups, sprint planning, retros, sprint reviews, and other project meetings as needed
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, product, data, operations, security, and compliance
Manage stakeholder expectations; deliver concise, audience-tailored status updates and executive readouts
Drive decision-making by framing tradeoffs, dependencies, and scenarios
Maintain Risk Log and Decision Registers; ensure timely mitigation and follow-through
Ensure delivery quality by developing test plans and managing test execution
Ensure vendors meet expectations outlined in SOWs and BRDs
Adhere to Project Management and Jira SOPs
Maintain up-to-date documentation (plans, roadmaps, risks, comms) in project tools via the Project Workbook and Jira
- Build relationships and influence without authority; remove organizational barriers to delivery
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications * 3 years of experience * High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years managing cross-functional projects
Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, HRIS, IT, related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience leading HR Projects like compensation, benefits program launches, policy, process redesign, talent acquisition initiatives, and/or performance management cycles
Experience organizing and managing work in Jira
Experience leading or participating on Agile Teams
Experience leading end-to-end projects, preferably in HR
Experience applying a hybrid of project management methodologies
Strong critical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail
Process-oriented with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple, parallel projects
Adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others to create a positive and productive team environment
Demonstrated adaptability to quickly adjust plans and strategies to accommodate new information or circumstances
Proactive planning work and delivering results without close oversight
Consistently meets commitments and drives issues to resolution
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to tailor messages to senior leaders, technical teams, and end users
Ability to look across HR and understand the "big picture"
Certifications in CSM, CSPO, PMP, CAPM, or PMI desired

Base Pay Range:
An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
