Job Description

Due to growing demand for high‑quality construction project data and consistent reporting across our clients’ capital programs, Turner & Townsend is seeking an Onsite Data Manager to support data management activities across multiple construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead onsite engagement with construction teams to collect and verify project data across cost, schedule, quantities, progress, procurement, change, and performance metrics.

  • Organize, structure, and maintain project data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure consistency and completeness.

  • Produce documentation, data dictionaries, process maps, and data specifications to establish standard approaches across projects.

  • Develop and maintain standard data and reporting templates in coordination with project controls, cost, and scheduling teams.

  • Contribute to Benchmark Data collection and utilization for reporting and future project use.

  • Support client with AI initiatives throughout their organization.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client teams, contractors, and internal Turner & Townsend colleagues.

  • Identify and promote opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and alignment across the program.

  • Foster and demonstrate an inclusive team culture focused on service excellence and exceptional performance.

  • Translate construction data and project information into clear insights, trends, and recommendations for stakeholders.

  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, and must be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree focused in data engineering, business, or construction

  • Experience working within construction or capital project environments, particularly in data management, project controls, or reporting roles.

  • Strong experience in construction data collection, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.

  • Knowledge of project controls concepts including cost management, scheduling, risk, change management, and performance measurement.

  • Experience working with construction data systems and tools such as Power BI, Excel, Primavera P6, Procore, e-Builder, or similar platforms.
