Our team plays a significant role in the business generation of Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit by preparing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals and solutions that best fits our customer needs, while ensuring competitive pricing. The Engineer will work closely with Siemens Sales to prepare offers supporting customers in the Data Centers, Semiconductors, Industrial, Construction and Utility markets on technical, contractual, and commercial issues.
We are looking for a Master Scheduler for our Solutions proposal team. This position will be based at Wendell, NC.
You’ll make an impact by
Create, forecast, implement, manage, and monitor project schedules that track factory capacity and meet customer expectations.
Identify capacity constraints and communicate lead times within the organization.
Update product demand at an organization level to understand and communicate impacts due to new projects or changes in existing projects.
Collaborate with the proposal, program management, factory production and procurement teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned with the project schedules.
Prepare and communicate monthly project plans.
Create and update customer reports/portals as required.
Ensure key metrics and objectives (delivery) are being met and written plans are in place for improvements.
Use data to analyze and provide solutions to scheduling problems.
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on scheduling issues.
Drive company initiatives within the Planning organization.
Ensure that all customer, company, and industry standards are followed.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience considered in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling. Experience in electrical power distribution products and power systems/ power delivery is strongly preferred.
3+ year of experience in an EPC, engineering, manufacturing, utility, or industrial corporate environment
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred 5+ years of experience in the Electrical Power Industry.
Knowledge and experience with IBC, NEC and NFPA codes and standards for E Houses/Buildings.
Knowledge and experience with Siemens medium and low-voltage products.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve scheduling and production challenges.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
PE/PMP certification is a plus.

The pay range for this position is <$89,670 - $153720>. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
