A Snapshot of Your Day
The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Strategic Accounts is responsible for driving business development for Siemens Energy Distribution Transformers across the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Distributor markets within the United States. This role partners closely with end customers, EPCs, distributors, and Siemens Energy manufacturing facilities to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions.
In addition, the KAM leads and manages day-to-day sales channel activities within the assigned territory, with a strong focus on increasing order intake, enhancing market visibility, and improving overall profitability.

Maintain a strong customer- and solutions-oriented approach, ensuring alignment between client needs and Siemens Energy offerings
Apply technical sales expertise to develop competitive, value-driven proposals
Drive sustainable growth through proactive market development and strategic account expansion
Demonstrate strong organizational discipline in managing accounts, opportunities, and internal coordination
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of technical and/or commercial experience in technical sales or marketing; transformer experience considered an asset
Self-motivated professional with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
Prior supervisory or leadership experience considered an asset
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both external customers and internal stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Windows-based systems
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
