Join our dynamic team as a High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) Service Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the environmentally safe performance of FACTS stations. Imagine executing technical field assignments that involve the service and repair of cutting-edge FACTS and HVDC systems, including Static Var Compensation (SVCs), Statcoms, and Synchronous condensers. You will have the opportunity to recommend corrective measures to enhance field service operations and customer satisfaction while collaborating on larger electrical substation and power plant projects. How You’ll Make an Impact
Youwill perform all aspects of maintenance and repair on FACTS/HVDC devices,ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Youwill conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, manage softwareupdates, and oversee spare parts inventory for FACTS/HVDC stations.
Youwill assist in troubleshooting and repairing FACTS/HVDC equipment,leveraging your expertise to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
Youwill communicate professionally about safety, security, and environmentalmatters, including leading tailgate meetings and reporting incidents.
Youwill coordinate your travel and lodging arrangements, ensuring smoothlogistics for field assignments.
Youwill complete time and expense reports and field service job reports usingonline tools, maintaining accurate records of your work.
Youwill uphold Siemens Environmental Health & Safety policies and adhereto all relevant laws and regulations.
