We are looking for a Facilities Capital Projects Lead. This position will be based in Raleigh, NC.
In this role, you will lead and support facility-based capital projects across multiple U.S. locations. You will serve as a technical project partner, coordinating internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business needs. This is a hands-on, field-oriented role supporting active construction, renovation, and infrastructure initiatives.
You’ll make a difference by
Leading and coordinating facilities capital improvement projects including renovations, expansions, and new construction across U.S. locations
Serving as the on-site technical liaison between internal stakeholders, Siemens Real Estate, contractors, and facilities management partners
Conducting regular site walks to identify construction issues, validate scope execution, and support timely resolution of gaps
Coordinating building systems and infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, utilities, data, and Wi‑Fi to support operational needs
Translating business requirements into actionable facility execution and construction support plans
Monitoring project progress and escalating risks related to schedule, scope, quality, or site conditions as needed
Partnering with vendors and service providers to ensure consistent delivery, safety, and project outcomes
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience with the following:
Facilities or capital project management in operational environments
Managing contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints
Supporting building systems including HVAC, electrical, utilities, and data infrastructure
On-site project coordination and issue resolution
Ability to travel up to approximately 20% as required
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
Experience supporting facilities projects in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environments
Familiarity with large corporate real estate or facilities operating models
Exposure to AutoCAD or electronic blueprint and PDF markup tools
Experience using project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera
