Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room | 13-Week Contract
Modality: RN – Corrections

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours per Week: 36/48 (Every Other Weekend)
Shifts: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM Uniform: Black scrubs Charting System: HERO Interview: Required — client will call directly; candidates must keep their phone accessible
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to support a correctional healthcare environment serving adult inmates in the emergency room setting. This is a fast-paced, competitive assignment with strong potential for long-term renewal and is widely considered a “hidden gem” within correctional nursing.
Shift & Assignment Details
Shift: 5:45a–6:15p
Schedule: 36/48 EOW
Unit: Urgent Care
Required Experience: ER experience and ACLS
Orientation & Work Environment
Orientation: 1 week, Monday–Friday, 8a–4/5p
Population: Adult inmates (18+) across varying custody levels
Environment: Secure, structured, clinically engaging
