CBRE AutoCAD Drafter (MEP Facilities & Equipment)- Hybrid in Zebulon, NC in Raleigh, North Carolina

About the Role:

As a CBRE CAD Designer, you will design andprepare electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium- scaleprojects.

This job is part of the Design function. They areresponsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications forinternal and external partners. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week onsitein Zebulon, NC and 2 days a week working remotely from home.

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in construction and record drawing development and management.

  • Coordinate and work with designers and engineers to provide drawing updates.

  • Understand and maintain CAD industry and company standards.

  • Have a working knowledge of project drawings, P&IDs, and PFDs. This includes mechanical, electrical, architectural, spacing planning, and information systems.

  • Manage the local document management system. This includes technical documentation and site master drawings.

  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.

  • Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.

  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Impact the quality of own work.

  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.

  • Ability to work well in team environment and able to express accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform work on multiple projects at a time and deliver quality work in a timely manner.

  • Proficient with Auto CAD and Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
